A Life Built in Red Deer
Red Deer has been home for most of my life. It’s where I grew up, went to school, and chose to raise my family. Alongside my late husband, Dan, I built a career, raised three sons, and supported a community that has given me so much. In 2024, I became a proud grandmother—another reminder of why the future of this city matters so deeply to me.
From Small Business to Public Service
From running a small business while putting ourselves through university, to serving four terms on City Council, to co-founding 100+ Women Who Care Red Deer and raising more than $640,000 for local charities, I’ve spent decades learning how to bring people together and get things done.

I’ve led the Red Deer Public School Board for 2 of my 3 terms, collaborated with community groups, and worked with businesses, non-profits, and families across this city. Each role taught me the same lesson: Red Deer thrives when we listen to one another, welcome diverse perspectives, and take bold steps forward.

I love Red Deer’s trails, parks, and recreation; our vibrant arts; multi-cultural, community groups; and the people who make this city strong. That’s why I’m running: because Red Deer deserves leadership that sees possibility, brings people together, and delivers results.
